Pillarstone Skin & Co. was created from a belief that skin care and gut health should feel grounding, supportive, and deeply intentional. Inspired by ancient standing stones—symbols of strength, continuity, and resilience—this space exists to honor skin in every stage of life.
Throughout my years in advanced aesthetics, oncology skin care, and education, I’ve witnessed how deeply skin is connected to our overall well-being. Our bodies and our skin tell our story—of stress and resilience, of healing and transformation. It deserves to be treated with patience, knowledge, and respect.
The name Pillarstone is inspired by the ancient standing stones found throughout Celtic lands—symbols of strength, grounding, and continuity through time. They stand quietly yet powerfully, weathering seasons while remaining rooted in purpose. This is how I approach skin & nutritional health.
At Pillarstone, we blend time-honored wisdom with modern science to support the skin in every stage of life. Each treatment is guided by intention, education, and a holistic understanding of the body. This is not about quick fixes—it is about building a foundation for long-term skin health and confidence.

I always knew I wanted to be in some kind of helping profession. But it was high school when I first fell in love with the field of aesthetics. Cosmetology 10 seemed like it could be an easy A – so I signed up, having no clue this would set me on my life journey.
Let’s face it, high school can be tough. Teenagers are greasy, have terrible skin and even worse eyebrows! We were all insecure about something. But when students would come into our classroom, I’d start curling hair, painting nails, making skin glow and they would change. I couldn’t take away all of the challenges of adolescence, but coming into the salon was a reprieve for so many. They smiled a bit bigger and shy kids came out of their shell.
I was hooked. I realized that aesthetics was so much deeper than I had imagined, the way we look can so deeply affect the way we feel and making people feel better became my passion. When a teacher approached me and told me this had to be my career, I knew she was right and I’ve never looked back.
Since then, I’ve had the privilege to work with celebrities, politicians and some of the best technicians in the business. I continue to take courses to upgrade my skills and stay on top of the latest research and technology. One of my biggest joys has come from training to be a Certified Oncology Esthetician and working with cancer patients. Helping people relax and feel better while battling cancer has been an amazing experience.
My latest education journey was spurred on a few years ago when clients came to me with issues like acne and rosacea with no obvious cause. I’ve always known that food affects our skin, but now I’m learning the science behind the connection by training to be a Registered Nutritional Counsellor. It’s a designation that will give me the tools to help people from the inside out.
